Have you ever contemplated visiting this tiny jewel in Central America?

A land of lush greens, a variety of landscapes, and great weather, they have such beautiful sights to explore including things like volcanoes, reefs, rocky points, and tiny islands, not to mention great weather and awesome wildlife.

Here are 6 reasons why you should visit:

1. The Beaches
With coastlines along the Pacific and Caribbean, Costa Rica has almost 300 beaches to relax and unwind on. Imagine that, there are definitely no shortages of beaches to wander to, do some yoga, or surfing for the adventurous!

2. The Volcanoes
Did you know Costa Rica has a total of 14 active and non-active volcanoes that form a group known as the ring of fire? (Wowzers – Isn’t that fascinating?!?) On a sunny day, if you go up to the Irazu Volcano, you can see stunning views of both the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans.

3. The Weather
You can pretty much say the weather is delightful all year round with sunny skies and occasional rain showers. Between December – May (dry season) it’s hot with some showers, and May – November (rain season) has more thunder and small spurts of showers throughout the day. But overall this is a tropical country, perfect to kick back and relax.

4. The Wildlife
One of my favourite – the animal world! Being so tropical and lush Costa Rica is the home to many exotic animals. You have everything between adorable sloths and poise dolphins, to vibrant toucans and mysterious crocodiles.

5. The Food
You know by now that I love my food, and am all about trying different cuisines when in destination. Some of the popular authentic items to try when visiting would be their Gallo Pinto (a breakfast dish), arroz con leche, ceviche, and their delicious fresh-brewed coffee. (Mmmm, the smell of coffee….)

6. The Rainforest
Home to over 10,000 species of plants and trees, Costa Rica’s rainforest is often referred to as “jewels of the earth”. Filled with exotic flora and fauna there are many areas that have waterfalls to climb, trails to hike, and tours to venture out and catch a glimpse of this world!

In addition to all of these, of course the locals (known as some of the happiest people in the world) make this a memorable experience as well. With all-inclusive options you can relax and enjoy a pina colada while spotting some colorful and exotic wildlife. So give me a call and let’s talk more about getting you to one of the most beautiful places around!
